Hawks View Cellars (USA)
Since 1991, Hawks View Cellars has been a small family-owned winery in Oregon’s Chehalem Mountain range crafting limited production wines from low input viticulture and detailed winemaking. Our 50-acre vineyard of Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris has been sustainably farmed since its original planting. In addition to our wines, Hawks View is Willamette Valley's premier private winery offering its patrons a welcoming haven minutes from downtown Portland
Hawk View Cellars is Oregon’s premier destination winery shaping award-winning wines from selected grape growing regions spanning the entire West Coast of the United States. Our 50-acre Estate vineyard of Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris has been sustainably farmed since its inception in 1991. Hawks View crafts over eight single vineyard varietal wines infused with the terrior driven style of Burgundy. Owned and tended by the Kemp family, Hawks View Cellars embodies the deeply personal experience of the Northwest winemaking.
Above and beyond...
At Hawks View, we don’t define success in conventional terms. We define it on your terms.
Through the deeply personal attention that our family and team devote to you, the fruit in our vineyard, and the craft of fine winemaking, our mission is to ensure that every bottle you open...and each visit you make...goes Above and Beyond your expectations.
While our setting was designed by nature, we have leading architect Larry Ferar to thank for bringing the vision of our world-class winery and tasting room to life. The confluence of this astonishing facility and this breathtaking vineyard makes every Hawks View experience extraordinary.
Planted in 1991, the 50-acre Hawks View Vineyard offers the ideal growing conditions for Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. Our east-facing slopes protect the vines from the heat of summer, while our moderate elevation ensures optimal ripening. The laurelwood and loess soils – unique to this side of the Chehalem Mountains AVA – lend distinction.
