Mala Vida

Blend                         Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Monastrell, Tempranillo

Region                       DO Valencia, Spain

Vineyard                   Mala Vida Roble is made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, from vineyards planted between 15 and 30 years ago and from Monastrell (grape originated in the area of Valencia ) and Tempranillo (most famous Spanish grape), from vineyards planted more than 30 years ago. Each vineyard was manually picked early in the morning when the grapes are in the optimum time of maturity.

Vinification               Fermentation takes place in a stainless steel tank at a temperature around 28º C to preserve fruit flavours. Maceration is around 25-30 days to maximize the typical characteristics of each varietal. After the maceration the wine stays 8 months in new American (Magreñan) and French (Taransud & Demptons) oak barrels to offer a complex wine but with fine and yummy tannins.
